What events led you to this career?
My mom was a successful investment wholesaler, and I had exposure and interest in the industry from an early age. My first job out of college was in portfolio management where I fell in love with securities markets. After a professional break as a stay-at-home mom, I had a need to get back to my roots and had the privilege of moving next door to the Cushman family where I got the greatest neighbors and friends and was introduced to financial planning. It has been an opportunity to rejoin the industry in a new way.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I derive great satisfaction from getting to serve others and make their lives better in even a small way. The relationships that I have developed over the last 6 years are special to me.
Family Info
My husband John and I were married in 1997 and have enjoyed living in Georgia since early 2003. We have two children, Emilie and Jack. We pour extra love into our furbabies still at home, Cami (Golden Retriever) & Fionn (Goldendoodle).
What are your interests outside of work?
I enjoy all kinds of music and love taking walks with my dogs and exercising. I’m sort of a home body but enjoy hanging out with my family and our close friends. John and I love sports and we have many teams we cheer for!
