What events led you to this career?
Growing up I found finance and investments interesting and exciting, and I wanted a career that I was passionate about. I remember opening my first investment account at 14 years old and have seen the benefits of planning money wisely at a young age. During the Financial Crisis of 2007 and 2008, I witnessed my grandparents’ lives turn upside down due to bad financial counsel that they were receiving at the time. Watching them walk through this life transition was a catalyst for me working in the financial planning field. I seek to walk alongside our clients and provide prudent advice for any situation that may come their way.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
The clients. I enjoy getting to live life with them and walk through the ups and downs that they may experience.
Clientele
I love working with all sorts of individuals, families and businesses and don’t specialize in one type of clientele.
Family Info
My wife, Jada, and I have been married for five years. We live in Hoschton, GA with our son, Ethan and our labradoodle, Charlie.
What are your interests outside of work?
I am a member of 12 Stone Church where my wife and I serve as small group leaders for young married couples. I enjoy watching and attending sporting events like the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Braves, and Liverpool. I adore traveling with my wife and family where we have had the opportunity to go to England, Germany, and Peru. I also enjoy woodworking and building various types of furniture.
What’s your favorite book, movie, or podcast?
The Bible Project
Why should someone work with Legacy?
I think someone should work with Legacy because we put God first in all our decisions. We use biblical principles to provide prudent advice to all our clients. Like our purpose statement says, we “empower our clients to create and achieve purposeful legacies of wealth beyond mere riches.” This is exemplified by encouraging our clients to be good stewards of the financial resources that the Lord has entrusted to them and reminding them that the Lord is faithful and that he will provide through market fluctuations.
