Background

I founded Legacy Planning Advisors in 1990. The company name is intended to represent its long-term purpose. Each word represents vision and mission. As a team, we envisioned a company with a long-term purpose built upon virtuous values and not simple short-term objectives. Legacy is also how the company measures success for itself and its clients. Purposeful legacies of wealth beyond mere riches are driving influences in how we sought to establish Legacy Planning Advisors.

My wife Camille and I have two children, a daughter-in-law, and one granddaughter. We have been members of Perimeter Church since 1992. I am a ruling elder and have served in numerous ministry capacities, notably as the leader of the estate planning ministry and elder advisor to the Stewardship and Generosity Ministry Team.

I graduated from Georgia Tech in 1978 and before founding Legacy Planning Advisors was employed in the design build construction industry for 12 years.

I have been Board Chairman of The Jackson Institute and still serve on the board. Legacy Planning Advisors was also an early adopter of the beginnings of Kingdom Advisors circa 2005.

I have a passion for wildlife and landscape photography and frequently travel to unique and adventurous locations, such as Chile, Iceland, and Africa. I have been blessed to have won numerous awards for my photos.

Since I have no plans to “retire,” I look forward to you joining us on our journey to influence and impact greater Atlanta and beyond to experience the transforming power of biblical life and financial principles.

My wife Camille played a significant role in the development and growth of Legacy Planning Advisors. While she has been retired for some time, she dedicated 30 remarkable years of service to the firm. She wore many hats over the years, from Advisor to Compliance Officer to Accountant. She worked long hours, faced many challenges, and her contributions did not go unnoticed. We are all deeply grateful for the sacrifices she made along the way. I celebrate her quiet strength and steadfast presence throughout this incredible journey. Thank you, Camille.
