What events led you to this career?

Throughout my high school and college years, I witnessed firsthand how challenging financial conversations and decisions can be for many people. I’ve been fortunate to receive valuable guidance from parents and mentors regarding career paths, which led me to realize that financial planning is not only a rewarding career but also an opportunity to make an impact by helping and serving others.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

Being able to work with clients on a personal level and explain what some think are difficult topics and issues! Making the client feel helped, guided, and informed.

Family Info

My wife and I, Melanie (we are recently married as of November 2025!) live in Alpharetta, GA. I am originally from Salem, OR, which is where my parents currently live along with extended family. My brother lives in West Virginia, and is the assistant tennis coach at WVU. My sister is still in college and playing D1 tennis at BGSU in Bowling Green, OH.

What are your interests outside of work?

I enjoy fishing, hiking, golf, tennis, and pretty much all sports! My wife and I love to attend church and small groups to fellowship. We love to stay active and travel as well!

Do you have a personal motto or favorite quote?

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Also, a quote originally by Billie Jean King, but also by my favorite basketball player, Damian Lillard – “Pressure is a privilege”.

What’s one word your coworkers would use to describe you?

Motivated!
