What events led you to this career?

My interest in financial planning began after the sudden passing of my father when I was 14. In the midst of that difficult time, I saw firsthand the profound difference a trusted financial advisor can make in a family’s life. That experience became a defining moment for me—shaping my path and inspiring me to pursue a career where I could provide that same support and guidance to others.

What do you enjoy most about what you do?

What I enjoy most is sitting down with a couple, hearing their story, and discovering what truly matters to them. At its core, financial planning is about aligning your money with your values, hopes, and dreams. I find it deeply meaningful not only to guide couples through the planning process, but also to walk alongside them through all of life’s ups, downs, twists, and turns.

Clientele

While I work with a diverse group of individuals and families, the populations I serve the most are Retirees, Corporate executives, Small business owners, Widows, and young families.

Family Info

I’ve been married to my wife, Allison, since 2014. Together, we’re raising three children—Roosevelt, Imogene, and Vaughn—who bring a ton of energy and fun to our lives! We live in Chamblee, GA and attend Brookhaven Presbyterian.

What are your interests outside of work?

Interests outside of work with small children? Ha! But really – I love spending time traveling and adventuring with my family. I also enjoy playing guitar and volunteering as a Young Life Leader. When it comes to sports, I’m a passionate fan of the Georgia Bulldogs — you can find me in Athens during most of the home games — and the Green Bay Packers.

What’s your favorite book, movie, or podcast?

My favorite movie is Forrest Gump – greatest movie of all time. I read Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir last year and really enjoyed it for you fiction + sci-fi readers. I really enjoy “Armchair Expert” for a laugh & Michael Kitces “Financial Advisor Success Podcast”
