Lunch with the Sage - By Jerry Black

The Sage of Omaha that is. Yes, that would be Warren Buffett, the Sage of Omaha, Nebraska. I just read* that cryptocurrency pioneer Justin Sun bid right at $4.6 million to have lunch with Warren Buffett. There is an annual auction to raise money for one of Mr. Buffett’s charities and the prize is lunch with the Sage. Apparently, Buffett doesn’t think much of cryptocurrencies, calling them “rat poison squared.” Charlie Munger, Buffett’s business partner defines bitcoin as “noxious poison.” To be honest, I only know a little about cryptocurrencies. I think Mr. Sun’s lunch with the Sage could be interesting. Apparently, cryptocurrencies have been good for Mr. Sun to have $4.6 million to convince one of the world’s wealthiest and most successful businessmen to think differently. We’ll see if Buffett changes his mind. *https://www.reuters.com/article/us-buffett-lunch/crypto-pioneer-justin-sun-pays-4-57-million-for-warren-buffett-lunch-idUSKCN1T42ET
