Steady Plodding Brings Prosperity - By Jerry Black

“…And hasty speculation brings poverty.” Ever heard this before? It’s a Proverb. Proverbs 21:5 to be exact. That’s one translation of the Proverb. Another says: “Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty.” Guilty – how about you? Had any good hot tips lately that promise fortune or great gains in a short time. How about a hot tip to avoid great losses? I admit, thirty five years ago I thought I could get rich quick. Wow – that was painful. What we can know from this Proverb is that it’s a principle to live by. It doesn’t promise great gain nor does it promise no loss. It simply says you improve your odds. Good planning – now that’s something to seriously consider!! Do you have a plan or is it simply a wish, a dream, a desire. Planning means you have a strategy and maybe that strategy has resulted in a commitment to do what it takes. That’s where the results are achieved. Need a plan? Give us a call.
